Manufactured Housing Communities Give Meaning to the Word 'Neighborhood'

Land-lease communities provide homeowners with affordable housing in a great neighborhood environment.  Residents own their homes, but lease their home sites, freeing their budgets from the additional expense of land ownership.

 

Community living offers many advantages over private dwellings.  Residents enjoy all of the features and services that community living has to offer, including a warm, friendly atmosphere, amenities such as swimming pools, spas, community clubhouses, playgrounds, ball fields, walking/biking trails and RV storage-facilities you won't find in most subdivisions or even condominium developments.  Land-lease communities offer a safe and supportive environment for you and your family, in a place you can trust. Some communities offer community-wide events such as potluck dinners and holiday parties to bring the neighborhood together.

There is certainly a sense of community living that residents like.  People tend to look out for each other more than in subdivisions.


Most communities have on-site community managers that help to enforce rules designed to protect a homeowner's investment, plan events, and maintain safe community environments. Having a manager who lives in the community gives an added feeling of security for the residents.
