Great News for some residents of Oakridge Mobile Home Park
| According to an article by the Associated Press, some homeowners in the Oakridge Mobile Home Park have something to celebrate! The homeowners whose mobile homes were destroyed by the Sayre Fire last year will receive millions of dollars in additional insurance money.
California Insurance Commissioner Steve Poizner says that the insurer AIG will provide as much as $125,000 more for each owner to rebuild. AIG insured 370 of the 485 homes destroyed when fire swept through the mobile home community in Sylmar last November. |

| State insurance regulators say they reached a deal with AIG to provide up to $46 million in additional money to ensure that all those policyholders would have the funds to rebuild. This averages to between $100K and $125K in additional money for each policy holder.
